The Celtics still have a huge problem in their frontcourt, like the fact they cannot rebound to save their lives.

Yall had Jonas looking like Willis Reed anytime he played yall, Whiteside basically turns into Shaq vs yall and the Cavs outrebound you by embarrassing margins.

The Celtics haven't addressed their rebounding problem, all while the better teams in the East can get boards.

I don't disagree.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Cavs won by trading there most clutch player? Yea ok...

I fukk with IT but even before the hip injury he was getting shut down. Y'all think he still putting up the same numbers while playing Lebron ball ?

His effectiveness is basically cut in half, that plus he's 5,9 :mjlol:

Kyrie usage rate last year was 31
Thomas usage rate was 34

He'll put up similar numbers with the Cavs as he did with the Celtics, 24-27ppg on a 30 usage rate.

If you think the Cavs lost this deal you are delusional :heh:

That Cavs-Kyrie bridge was burned. His ass was outta there eventually, so why not deal with it now? Releastically what was a better deal the Cavs could have got?
nikkas is retarded. theyre prolly the same nikkas who give kyrie all the credit for winning game 7 and yeah that game winner was nice but they dont understand that this nikka kyrie is not a true pg. that hero ball shyt he does is a liability. IT and d rose will put up numbers that actually matters for the cavs.

That Nets pick isn't going to be that valuable. And Ainge knows this, hence why he flipped it.
Why do people say this? What talent on that roster is going to win games? Who is going to score more than 15 points per game besides D'Angelo Russell?

That's still a bottom 5 roster. They might not be the worst team because they aren't tanking but they don't have talent.

The three worst rosters in the league in my opinion are:

Bulls
Hawks
Nets

And the Bulls and Hawks are both tanking from the start. So Nets are probably conveying around the 3rd pick. Again.

Boston reached its peak with that core.

They got rid of IT, Crowder, Bradley and Olynk and picked up Kyrie, Hayward, Morris, and Tatum. All things considered, Boston did just fine this offseason.

I just wish Danny would get himself a legit big man that can rebound and helps us with rim protection.

I still feel like Danny has another move up his sleeve (probably before the trade deadline).
Huh? They had just got Hayward and needed a good big which they had the assets to get. They took a 10 year rebuild or more to 4 and made the wcf. How did they "reach their peak? They got a bunch of dudes who don't even play the brand of ball that has beenbso efficient and closer to league trending success. They got rid of their brst offensive option who was the best scorer in the league last year and two of the best role players at their position for kyrie and peanuts. They fixed no issues they already had. They got worse.

Before the trade, Gordon would've helped Boston push a series against the Cavs to 6 games. That was the consensus in the sports media and definitely on the Coli.

Offensively, the Cs got better (and younger) with his trade. However, as has been for the past 2 years, the issue for the Cs lies on the defensive side of the ball (rebounding/rim protection).

But you're a FOOL if you think the Cs got worse this offseason. That opinion can't be respected.

Just the fact that the Nets added D'Angelo Russell and Kenny Atkinson won't tank means that the Nets by default are not going to be as bad as they were last year. Add in the fact that many teams in the East got worse (a rack of all-stars jumped to the West) and I'm not so sure that Nets pick will be that valuable. The upcoming draft isn't going to be as good as this summer's either.

We'll have to wait and see but I understand Ainge's logic in flipping the pick.

Exactly they've been fine defensively and top 5 the year before last but they had no big to rim protect and rebound and guess what they still don't have. And yeah they are worse. What did they get better at? Tell me.

They have multiple scoring options now. A team with Kyrie and Hayward as a 1-2 punch won't have any problem putting up points, that's for sure. The team improved offensively. Full stop.

As I've long conceded, Boston's defensive and rebounding remain an issue. But the Cs kept Smart who can legit guard the 1-4, they brought in Marcus Morris (who has improved offensively every year, can hit the 3 and is a legit goon) and Aron Baynes (another big man who should help defensively). Hayward is also actually a pretty decent defender also. And it's possible that Jaylen Brown makes a leap defensively. Losing Bradley and Crowder hurts but Bradley isn't worth the max money he'll demand and Crowder can be replaced (although his friendly contract cannot).

Wasn't all y'all Boston stans saying how stupid it was to trade IT...when @Malta & others including myself said y'all should think about moving on.

Now when y'all see the writing on the wall you wanna switch up.
I don't wanna hear nobody switch up when the wizards run the East this year :birdman:
