Yes, new parties can be created, but without that billion dollar coverage and lac of local and state seats it's useless. That's why Sanders ran as a Democrat. You gotta be honest what the DNC did was fraud. I'm even eligible to sue them because I donated money too thinking it would be a fair primary. Like I said, without that 60-80% coverage it's useless. Also, they wouldn't allow the Independents to vote. In the general it's easy, so why can't it be in the primary?
The tea party did it. They affected politics on every level, city state and national.
I've been voting longer than you've been alive and very rarely (3x I believe) have I seen 3rd party candidates on the ballot for anything other than the presidential election. Everybody wants to start at the top instead of the bottom. shyt the green party has been around forever and still couldn't get their act together enough to get on the ballot in all states.
Be the change you want to see.
bytch bytch bytching about how horribly unfair the current system is doesn't do anything but raise your blood pressure.
Be active in your community, recruit and put forth candidates that share your beliefs. Work with them. Work for them. From dog catcher to school board to city council on up.start locally and build nationally.
Neither party has to change unless a large part of the population _that actually gets out and votes_ insists upon change.
I would love to see the same energy some of yall put into hillary hate or "the systems rigged" hate show the same passion towards the ongoing voter suppression schemes and laws that are depriving people of their right to pick any candidate, good or bad. Or put energy into making sure that citizens United is either challenged again in the SC or beaten via constitutional ammendment.
You're very set in your opinion and I am very set in mine.
It's a Sunday and I'm going to fry some fish and enjoy my day.
Have a good one Joe.
