Wrt that fund though, it's money from a joint fundraising committee that is then disseminated down to state parties in battleground states. Trying to tie that into some payoff is bullshyt. It still doesn't explain the deficit in votes or Bernie ignoring the South. Or Obama beating her in 2008.

there is no bias in the democratic party. the super delegates weren't created to 'check' the will of the people. every primary is open, free, and without any favoritism. no political favors or promotions are ever promised in exchange for support

I didn't say that. Wrt supers. Were they? They switched with the quickness in 2008 when it was clear Obama was going to be the winner. If they were there to go against the will of the people, wouldn't they have stuck with Clinton? Have there been any instances of them going against the will of the people?

In regards to open primaries why should I want such a thing? So your states primary could get freeped like an online poll? If you're truly concerned with whom the candidate of a party is going to be you should at least be motivated enough to change your party affiliation (even temporarily ) if that's what your state requires.

oh, thats not what i meant by open in that post. i agree with you as far as that goes. im fine with them requiring that a person is registered to that party to vote in the primary, in principle

but, the fact is that we only have two "choices". both of which are protected by secret service ever since RFK, paid for by every americans tax dollars. so this illusion of a 'private' political party...i dont buy it either, tbh i see them in several ways as very much public entities
