Bron says you can't compare 80's and 90's players playing 82 games to today's game due to the faster pace.

Dude has zero awareness off the court :snoop:

He should get blowback for this but who knows… Cats were playing all these games in converse and shyt. It’s supposed to be better now because technology is better. So now those guys back then aren’t plumbers?

Defenders are moving around a lot more now than previous generations because of the increased spacing. Pace can't take that into account.
Not really, because they switch everything. It's a matchup zone like John Chaney.

They play less minutes, games spaced out further than ever, have the "best equipment/training/nutritition" and still aren't playing close to 80 games.

LeBron's right. The amount of movement and space is alot more compared to different generations. But of course flabbyheads would rather attack the messenger.

Guarding switches still requires movement than basketball in the 80s. The fact that there are often 4-5 three point shooters on the floor at a time requires more movement on defense.

Did you really compare small college courts, focused primarily on low post action to the current NBA?

Nobody’s forcing teams to play at this crazy sped up pace and shoot the amount of 3s they do. Maybe somebody will have the bright idea to slow it down since these injuries aren’t :hubie:

You run from three point line to three point line!

And what the fukk is Bron talking about, minus the once in a blue chase down block, he's been walking back on defense the last couple of seasons.

TYRONE GA!
Bullshyt. Stationary play was when dudes would dump the ball into the low post and stand around.

there is MUCH MORE movement today than in the past.
this.

flipside is hard fouls back then aren't flagrants/ejections like they are now. Kinda wished they brought that element back without running to the cameras to review everything but :yeshrug: . Seeing Wemby clobber a dude going to the rim and being like :unimpressed: would be comical.
