Can someone explain to me who the fuk the pope is

Was raised Catholic (mother was a nun for 15 years.... from age 16 to 31). Went to Catholic primary and high school.
I still don't get or understand a lot about the Catholic church.
I stopped participating around 9th grade though.... just wasn't feeling it.
They don't view him as a God on earth or anything thats just exaggerated.
The Catholic church does a lot of positives around the world, educational and helping with infrastructure in many countries. Their was some pedos in USA from my understanding.... sad. In historical reference they did fukk up a lot condoning slavery, and how women are viewed. Wars and invading countries to spread religion.
In any order, I walked away from all of it. Follow my own religious path now. Between God and I alone.
Edit. I do like their service and mass. It really gives me that holy vibe, no other church did. Have a bunch of good memories as a kid at my old church (St. Thomas Moore). Gave me a good moral background. But around the time of Capleton, Sizzla, Garnet Silk, Buju... Rasta had a big movement in the 90s, and I started down that road.

Any general is only as strong as his army. Catholics are now the second largest religion behind Islam I think at one time probably the largest. So its his army that hypes him up if your not a part of that more then likely you dont give a shyt about him. But because of that it would be chaos if they didnt shut down some streets ect to move him thru if people know he is here. I also feel the same way when British royals come over the media blits is crazy people crying in the streets and other foolishness. I remember seeing the other Pope on TV growing up used to get driven around in like a bullet proof bubble in case someone wanted to kill him. Even the Pope can get touched out here in the world.

People aren't comfortable around those inconvenient truths. Everything that I lay my eyes or thoughts on deserves scrutiny. If it doesn't pass the eye/sniff test, then I don't fukk with it.

IF religious leaders are supposed to be projecting a standard of humility & quiet peacefulness...why do they walk around like they just won the 2015 NBA Finals & are fukking Rihanna on the weekends. They should show themselves to be the least important of their flock, if they were really about that life.
