Pops is an oldhead who won’t give LeBron any credit as 1 of the greatest because apparently, the older era was “tougher”.

He goes as far as to say that Kobe and even Ewing are above him :mjlol:

What are are counter-arguments and facts I could give to shut him down? Would be much appreciated.

If he's putting Kobe and ESPECIALLY Ewing over Bron....ain't much you can do to convince him.

MJ/Cap/Bron are on the GOAT tier. Who you put #1 is a matter of preference and what you value. Kobe is not on this tier. If LeBron never existed, NO ONE would put Kobe on this tier.

After that, Russell/Wilt/Dream/Kobe/Shaq/Curry/Bird/Magic/Duncan....maybe the Logo etc. Dr. J might be on this tier too.

After that is the Dirk/KG level and whoever else you put here. Maybe a Moses Malone, DWade etc.

His only arguments is that the new era is softer than the old era, which is why he won’t give any credit to Bron. Once I shut that shyt down, he has no leg to stand on, but sadly, I don’t know enough about 90s-era basketball and older to counter him on this.

Ypu don't have any factual point.
or skill anything.

to win this argument.

Lebron = le'elgin baylor 2.o

If you really wanna lose.
Plus make this an even bigger L.
Bring up elgin baylor and take up residence in the L zone.

Lebron had to cheat his way to get to that tier :yeshrug: It is what it is. He’d be KarlMalone if he was a real nikka. No rings and just longevity.

Listen to ya pops instead of running to the coli like a lil child.

It’s always funny when Bron stans use him playing against better competition to justify why he belongs next to Jordan then turn around and shyt on the best modern day player since Jordan :mjlol: yall don’t even know what yall arguing anymore.

Anyway, tell you momma save some of that pie for me too

LeBron didn’t get the fortune of having HOF’ers added to the team that drafted him like other players did, atleast not until the Cavs got Kyrie, so it is what it is :manny:

Did Joker? Did Giannis? He had the best team in the east back to back years and failed both times then quit on that franchise to team up with his draft mate who was a fmvp and top 3 player in the league. That’s what ya man had to do to finally win something. Talking bout Kobe lol Kobe was the best player during the best defensive era in the history of the league. Let that man rest in peace.

Those 2 haven’t even sniffed a finals since their championship runs, so while they’ll go down as all-time greats, it ain’t gonna do much for their legacies. Facts is, you usually need a great team around you to string along some championship runs and get yourself into GOAT convos, and LeBron’s best teammate during his 1st Cleveland stint was probably Zydrunas, so take what you will from that :manny:

And nobody how you feel about him leaving, he still went back to Cleveland when they finally put a truly solid roster up and lead them to a title against 73-9 juggernauts, so there’s that.

Which would have been Lebrons fate had he not been a sucka and left for Miami so what you saying? LeBrons Cleveland teams are on par to what Giannis and Joker played with. I’m sure they’re sitting on 2-3 rings right now if they went superteam hunting too. I mean, lebrons already on record saying he’d have less rings if he never left to form a super team with Wade and Bosh
