Nas stans cant be reasoned with so why bother,but everybody and they mama know voting for Nas is dishonest....If Nas was as great as yall claim he's had 20 years w/o Pac existing to make this a clearcut victory for himself and he couldnt.....Its actually the one pathetic thing about Nas and Jay resume,u gotta give props that they outlasted everybody and sfayed relevant....but its dissapointing they havebt absolutley lapped all of the all time greats in terms of catalogue....song for song its no competetion Pac got more classics than Nas,catalogue for catalogue if im generous to nas its a tie at best,and yes illmatic is overated....its not any more classic than any pac classic despite the hype and it flopped when it dropped....now nikkas swear It was Written is better in order to give Nas another notch under his belt...history has been rewritten to help nas as much as anybody thinns death helped Pac....i dont care what yall say about death,when a nikka get a extra 20 years and cant make it crystal clear he's better then it probaly mean he aint better.....Imagine Kobe having 20 more years of high level play in em and he still cant break jordans scoring record or get more rings

If you wanna keep it 100, the only true classic between both is illmatic(not even my favorite nas album).

The life's a bytch line that Cornmega wrote is good. The rest of what you posted is average shyt I could expect to hear from any rapper. Certainly not better than Pac. So yes, Pac is better bar for bar than naS, which isnt saying much, but its true.

AEOM, MATW, 7DT, TLV1, can compete with any nas album. Other than the lost tapes, iww, and illmatic, nas don't got a god like album. And 2/3 were released in the mid 90s
"Compete"? All 4 of those albums you listed surpass anything in Nas's catalog by a significant margin - to keep it real Illmatic is arguably competitive with the Thug Life album - each of the three other albums significantly pass it in stature alone. The Illmatic is a great album but it's status comes from status quo and traditionalism that is derivedfrom bias New York publications
Not even bringing up status into the discussion, keep that. Just put the albums up head to head and there's no argument, Illmatic doesn't hold up
