yeah i was thinking this too.
i think kanye has passed the torch to chance.
i mean, its very unlikely we gonna get new yeezy albums in the coming years - so i think chance might be that dude when it comes to putting out classic new rap music,

Here's my problems with Chance the Rapper

He's got an annoying voice. It sounded different when you first heard acid rap, but after 10 or so listens you realize how fukkin annoying dude is.:scust:

Nununahnahnahnahhhh nununahna-:camby:

His lyrics are subpar and he thinks he's some great lyricist.

His attitude. Not many people noticed this, but the way he acts in his videos and his vocal inflections. Dude thinks he's the man-of-the-hour, and not in a good way.
He doesn't have the charisma to back it up. You watch his interviews and he's a weirdo who looks/sounds like he's about to cry all the time (Peep video of him and Willow Smith)
Have you seen him dancing? :dahell:Fruity as all hell.

Uses the same flow/rhyme scheme/melodies in a TON of songs. He rips SSLP era Em very hard.

His "ad-lib" is horrible, too. :mjlol:

However, I do like his music, and if he toned down the annoyance factor he'd be so much better. He really doesn't have a great voice for rapping. His beats are top quality (at least on acid rap, surf was hot trash)

His message is good, too, besides advocating drug use. I enjoy his positive energy and different sound, but dude needs to tone down the corn by about 1000%. Oh, and he's obviously a huge industry plant. Acid Rain is his best song to date, and coincidentally, it's the song where he isn't being an annoying fakkit the whole time.

GOD BLESS ALL MY nikkaS....nikka!

I been checkin the boy since I heard that feature. Son to neo for mainstream but he deserves a spot next to Kendrick and Cole.

A lot of terrible opinions in here :dead:

Chance has never been a plant, but that narrative still persists for some reason

Yes he is. The nikka pop is a politician in this city. You think he didn't have strings pulled?
