That said, i'm not a big fan of Roc's delivery and his "that's light" slogan, so i'm probably bias.

Im edging it 3-0 clipse. Roc had some shyt in the first two rounds but Clipse was just that much better, his delivery and performance is just waaayy better. But like you Im not a fan the overly aggressive battlers, that shyt has been played out and imo is just a cop out for lack of creativity/personality. But Im not taking anything from Roc because he did his thing, this one of the best battles I've seen in a looooooooooooongg time.

Tay might have edged that second though. The grandmother rebuttal may have got that for him. But Clipse's prayer scheme was dope as well. I just gottaa ride with Clipse for the creativity.

Surf choked badly, Clips didn't really have great material.

I want to think so but Charlie made the NOME3 B Magic battle friendly, and it kept him from dying imo. If Magic had the killer instinct he had vs Chilla, Charlie wouldn't have been able to hang on to the "arguably undefeated" tag. I still think Clips lost to Magic tho.

His 1st and 3rd were really dope to me. I really feel like his 1st is why surf choked. Never seen him thrown off like that. nikka completely lost memory of the round after like 2 bars.

I seriously can't see how anybody had Tay winning this. And I'm a Tay fan, I was pullin for him to win

This shyt is really baffling to me. Clipse straight floated in this battle. Clipse like this can beat anybody.

I need to see what Clipse can do against Hollow.

Just two battlers in two different classes.. Rock has improved, for what he does, does not come off as boring although to a downfall you can expect what he gonna bring in every battle.. Clips man, it's why he's what you'd consider a professional battle rapper. Creativity, presence, bars, humor, and this is coming from a Nygga who thought he was overrated on his og comeback trail.. Him and a focused hollow, with a great crowd would be some epic shyt.. He has to find a way to end his rounds better tho, he tends to od, and draw out his rounds with frees and unfocused bars, taking steam out of how you remember them

FACT. Always get the feeling He can kill anyone but he just doesn't care to. Surf really the only nikka who got it badly in recent memory.

I agree with this. The way he ends rounds sometimes just leaves me .

But clipse really does have the total package. That's why I'd love to see him against a Hollow or Lux because I know he won't slack.

Yeah, I say this because I think Danny will approach that battle in some "I don't give a fukk about Charlie shyt" it will be his biggest battle to date and he has alot to prove. Danny will have a gang of haymakers for clips

Surf is a great performer and works the stage perfect with the best of them. What are you talkin about? lol What made the con battle close is that surf outperformed con and was barkin on him. Surf has one of the better deliveries too. Whats hurts surf is his reaching and bullshytting at time. He was wack vs brixx? You just hate surf Which is cool, at least you admit it. Surf would kill all of these new nikkas, if DNA does can beat them then surf will kill them. Again, I'm only tlkin about the focused surf that was gettin at x factor and such. Not this wack nikka that battled calicoe

and saying shyt like "if he said that now, nikkas would say it was wack, his bars weak, etc. etc." is ridiculous because we ALL know the bar structure is completely different now than it was back then arguments like that never made any sense to me. of COURSE it wouldn't sound the same in today's format

and i agree if DNA can pull out wins vs. Prez and Ill Will then surf would have no problem if he can cut out the reaches

but the surf that battled cal would get fukked up
