on review I think Roc coulda got the second. Clips killed me with "if heaven got a URL please make him top tier" and that first Pacers scheme tho.

Yeah you can tell every battle with Clips is like that. As Rich Yung said, Charlie makes all his battles light hearted. Even Ars who disrespects everyone, didn't even go that crazy against Clips. He just got a likeable personality and makes it harder to have that aggression I think.

I think if the battle happened at the actual event, Roc woulda been more turnt up

I enjoy watching Tay Roc, but based on sheer ability, Charlie should have killed him.

I think the main thing I took from this battle is the same thing I take from every Charlie Clips battle. Charlie Clips is the laziest battle rapper out there. This guy raps to the level of his opposition. If he's facing a guy that has bars, he's like okay I gotta turn it up a little bit this battle. He does just enough each battle. This nygga is always on cruise control.

Yeah If Clips isn't really facing someone who can really push him, I'm not trying to see him.

His ability to perform at a high level & make things sound hot along with a few haymakers just get him by. It's like he battles not too lose. He knows a guy like Tay Roc can't beat him. Roc's performance can't overwhelm a guy like Clips. Clips can freestyle some shyt. Why bother locking himself in a room writing for a guy like Tay Roc. Clips probably prepared a week ago.

Clips has a whole lot of battles coming up the last half of the year, so expect a lot of battle with emphasis on performance & delivery.

I'm sitting here trying to think up some interesting match ups for Clips.

I want to think so but Charlie made the NOME3 B Magic battle friendly, and it kept him from dying imo. If Magic had the killer instinct he had vs Chilla, Charlie wouldn't have been able to hang on to the "arguably undefeated" tag. I still think Clips lost to Magic tho.

Roc 2-1..... Even though Roc's aggressiveness was down a little... I think that's because of Charlie's goofy ass.... He makes battles wild light hearted... I hope Roc/Surf happens ....

2nd round Tay Roc.........would've gave it to Clips (that praying to God shyt was dope imo) but that choke

Surf only got killed in the 3rd round imo. I liked his 1st round better, and he choked the 2nd round away (Clips really wasn't saying shyt that round)
