Charlie Clips vs Tay Roc NOME IV

I am a little torn on who to give the first to. I feel like clips did more overall, but roc had the better standout moments. Either way it was a good battle and i think it will lead to tay getting better looks in the future

Roc 2-1..... Even though Roc's aggressiveness was down a little... I think that's because of Charlie's goofy ass.... He makes battles wild light hearted... I hope Roc/Surf happens ....

I think I just prefer Roc in general, and that's what swayed me his way. His bars are just harder hitting, and coupled with his delivery and presence i can't help but think he got that one

Yeah looks like it. To me, Clips was too much for Roc. Roc was one dimensional. He did what he usually does which is good, Clips was just better. I give Roc the second though.

One thing I will say, Clips never clearly loses ever. I don't think anyone will ever beat Clips to the point you can say he clearly lost.

Did you notice in this battle how Tay "respected" clips too much. Like Tay didn't have the same aggression he had like he did vs Will or JC. Tay didn't even literally sweat this battle Tay seemed to be content on simply gettin a rematch against Clips and it showed.

Tay could have clearly beat Clips especially in the room because dot mob and the crowd were riding for Tay. But Tay needed 3 rounds of fire. He needed his 2nd round vs ILL will and his 2nd round vs jC and his 1st round vs O red to have beat Clips

Clips 2-1. I gave Roc the 2nd cause Clips stumbled at the worst possible time and ended the round weak. His stumble in the third was wasn't a big deal since he recovered fast enough and dropped the highlight of the 3rd round. Not sure why anyone would have an issue with cats joking during battles. Clips utilizes it perfectly imo. He starts rounds off with jokes and transitions to bars with a faster flow after. Clowning your opponent and having the crowd straight laughing with you/at him can only help. Especially if you already have better bars than your opponent anyway.

Yeah you can tell every battle with Clips is like that. As Rich Yung said, Charlie makes all his battles light hearted. Even Ars who disrespects everyone, didn't even go that crazy against Clips. He just got a likeable personality and makes it harder to have that aggression I think.

yea i never understood the hate for jokes, they still make your opponent look bad so i dont see the problem


that being said, this is one of those battles i have zero interest in sharing my opinion on
