There you go again: acting likethere are only anecdotes when you know our stats as a whole aren't very good currently.
our stats as a whole say we are doing better than we ever have done in this country. Especially in the context of high school. You wann claim this is a growing problem, but the only thing growing is black kids rate of graduation and educational achievement.
They won't post that stat on tv though. They'll post that blacks are behind whites, but they won't post that blacks are improving while whites are declining.
That's the propaganda. You can come up with any stat to support almost any point. But you need to read research learn and draw your own conclusions instead of just reading headlines.
And I peep'ed that you didn't respond to my last comment. I'm not trying to punk you, I'm honestly curious where you're coming from:
Didn't see your last comment.
So, let me try and understand you: The good stats (that make you feel good) are true and the bad stats (that make you feel bad) are lies - even when they come from the exact same place. And you know every bad stat that I might cite is propaganda - site unseen.
No. Trying to draw overarching conclusions over any stat without context is not intellectually valid.
You say black prison rate is high. Which is true. But it needs context. Studies also say blacks are targeted arrested and sentenced unfairly. So it's not a case of black people being inherent criminals as you'd suggest with the misleading stat.
Same goes for "out of wedlock" rates. The rate tells you nothing about a child's actual upbringing.
When studies are done about the kids actual lives, it's black fathers that are more likely to be a part of the kids life regardless of marital status. And beyond that irresponsible teenage pregnancies are at their lowest point EVER for black people.
But again the headlines won't put that stuff out there. They'll just run the headlines saying how fukked up black people are without any context.
So yes, stats are used for propaganda. It's doesn't mean the numbers are wrong. Just the conclusions being drawn from the numbers.
