:wtf: how you gon tell Rockets fans what makes us happy. At the end of the day it's about wins and advancing in the Offs. If 17 & 10 does that while giving Harden more energy in May then that's all that matters.
I would normally agree but you guys gutted your bench for him. He's got to put up some points in Houston

Did we really gut our bench though? Lou Will didn't really come into the foray until after the All-Star break & was inconsistent as fukk anyway. Harrell barely got any burn after the All-Star break & Dekker got hurt + was an incredibly streaky shooter.

Harden should average somewhere between 30-32 PPG next season & I think CP3 will put up 20-22 PPG in a faster paced offense.

he needed to put up points on the clippers. one of the reason they fell short is because he was not aggressive enough putting the ball in the basket.

currently the rockets have harden, gordon, and anderson, who should be good for about 60-65 ppg...... that is solid, but of course the rockets hope to either add another scorer, or flip andersen for a better player, but its still a better scoring group than what he had in LA. he had to depend on blake, JJ, and crawford.... id say the rockets will be better at putting up numbers especially with their system.

cp3 should be able to score easier with a stretch 4 also

they gave up Lou (who was a trade deadline rental), Pat Bev, and a bunch of kids who haven't proven anything yet. That's no where near gutting their bench.

not to mention guys love playing for Pringles and they have two of the best passers/creators in the league on the same roster. incredibly attractive destination right now, filling out the bench is gonna be easy.

yea they can get some good pieces but its looking less likely they can get another star.

And people were shytting on Chicago with what they got back for Jimmy

This is why it was crucial to trade Jimmy now so the Bulls didn't get some shyt package like this in a year or two

cp shoulda just taken the money with the Clippers. I don't think the Rockets are going to offer him the 5 year max deal after this season considering he will be 33 and declining

I am pretty sure he got confirmation of that before asking for that trade. No reason for either side to make that move if they didn't agree to that

no we didn't gut our bench. lou will was a key bench piece after the trade, but we were good before the trade. dekker and harrell weren't key depth. bev is the only real loss from a performance angle but CP3 replaces him and some. we can find someone to replace lou will in free agency. and dekker and harrell can be replaced with other young players. ironically of the 3 young players we sent i was hoping to keep kyle wiltjer because unlike dekker he can actually shoot the 3 and would be a good end of bench development option.

I'd say it's a date trade. It helped improve the rockets and stabilize the clippers for the future. Both teams will be about even when the season starts but still not better or up to par with the warriors or spurs.
