Chicago had 700+ murders last year. I don't think Chicago has had that many homicides in a calendar year since the 90's. So even if it's per capital murder rate isn't on the level of st Louis or Bmore, the fact that it's total homicide count has risen up that much, is pretty bad. Back in 2012 Chicago had maybe 400 murders. That number increased by 300 in a span of 5yrs. That's pretty bad.....
