This girl had to be mentally unstable or extremely vain, which may be a mental disorder in and of itself. Even at 13, she should've known her hair would grow back pretty quickly. These kids nowadays are so spoiled and deficient that they can't even take some embarassment. Ol' every kid gets a trophy a## generation we live in.

The father didn't have to do all that, but until more detail is given, I don't know if dude should be in trouble for this. Especially since this seems to be some sort of trend.

Plus, if this chick hadn't have done some crazy sh#t, then people would be applauding the father for bringing her back to earth, especially if she was doing some teenage ho sh#t..

I'm not with humiliating your kids online for "punishment" but what's the point of attacking the father now? he already got the worst ether he could get. There's ppl going thru a lot worse than what this girl had done to her. This shyt was very mild.

I never agreed with the humiliation of children as punishment. Its abuse.
Parents seeking validation from social media to say "look at me I am a good parent" is disgusting. Kids are very hormonal and rash at her age, and not fully thinking about the consequences. Things that don't matter and temporary, are the biggest things in the world to them. With how their generation is so wrapped in image and social media its even worse than it use to be.

Parents are becoming attention whores but let's focus on the child as well. To be able to kill yourself that way is beyond extreme.she didn't even die off impact. Imagine being so said you are going to get out of the car on the highway then jump off a bridge into moving traffic. The balls to do this! I'm not convinced it was just over a hair cut.

I think most people are addressing the issue regarding "parenting" for social media likes and the obvious drawbacks that its proponents chose to disregard. A girl that age could be weak minded while not suffering from a depression. That point is made by knowing that a girl that age are subject to their emotions more-so than any age group/gender group in the human lifespan. She could have been depressed beforehand, sure. She also could not have been and became so in a dramatically short about of time, which would make her unstable enough to do this. I don't know her to made this assumption, so I choose not to base my opinion on it. This is about more the father's actions, not the daughter's comparative to others.
