Am I the only one thinking the vocals sound thin on this? Sounds like they had a chorus effect on the vocal chain or something.

Either way, track is fire, and I’ll never complain about new De La. Lyrics and production are top-notch, as expected. Just not loving the vocal mix on this.

I noticed that as well. My immediate assumption was that it might be a separate vocal mix for youtube/video? We'll see when the album comes out.

Yeah I was gonna say this. Vocals sound really off to me.

Love the production and rapping but vocals didn't sound right. Weird mix.

We staying right here
Talk less, listen more
That's the saying right here
Those who wanna try us
Play it right here
Step to us with a Goliath
Got a David right here

This why Pos is in my top 10-15:wow:

RIP Dave. Death is the only thing that broke up De La Soul. They never turned on each other.

Please let Pete and Nas work out their issues and give us an album.
Sooooo underrated0

"Featuring production from DJ Premier, Super Dave, and Pete Rock, with guest verses from Killer Mike, Yukimi (Little Dragon), Nas, and Black Thought, the album balances timeless soul and futuristic beats a true bridge between eras."
Little Dragon feature is kinda crazy:whoo:

Happy to see Jake One and Nottz on the album. They rarely miss, if ever

Nottz is one of Hip Hop's most consistent producers since '98.

Dude still makes 5-10 beats a day and makes them available for indie artists too, if they want to work. He's mad underrated. Definitely doesn't get the love that he deserves, for all the classic work he's done.

He needs to go on a bit of a Alchemist run and produce a couple of full projects. Would love to see him and Busta lock in for a full project.

Facts.

I've been saying the same forever. Dude has a million dope beats that are just sitting there. I really don’t get why more MC's aren't reaching out to work with him. Busta was one of the people I thought would be using him a lot more. His sound is perfect for where Buss needs to be, musically. A whole project with Nottz is exactly what would help get Busta back on track.
