I live right by that spot. like 10 miinute drive away

people talking about these guys swimming abilities obviously don't know shyt about undertows. the waters surface mat appear calm, but right below it there's current moving around fast as hell. if 2 of them currents collide it will drag anyone down. an Olympic swimmer could die from that shyt
From the looks of the video and the water I think my swim skills could be enough but if that’s the word about that particular spot then I don’t want smoke at all

I don’t think yall brehs understand how powerful them undercurrents be on large rivers like the Mississippi, Niagara, Hudson River etc

Could look like the calmest water ever and absolutely swallow your ass whole :damn:

That's what got me about the thread from yesterday. It was just the video with no explanation. shyt looked calm as a pool.

That said I ain't about to test mother nature like that

:Whoooooooaaaaaa:

Breh they have said even skilled divers/swimmers have drowned. Trained rescuers have died. Just because you can backstroke at the local pool doesn't mean you can swim through currents.

True. But at least try you never know.

I agree with the principle but it's not possible

You see how fast they went under. Now, how fast can the average person undress, put all the clothes together and tie them in a long ass rope then throw it in to save them? My guess would be at the least, 3 minutes, not to mention you'd only start doing it when you realize they were already in trouble.
