Depends. Knowing sports is not my JOB but if it was you could be for damn sure I would know a bout sports that MILLIONS of people watch. Cricket in terms of total people who watch it is more popular than Football and Hockey.

Another thing is I don't need to have fukking updates on fukking people reporting to NFL training camp. ESPN football coverage is by far the most heinous. Especially with Mr. "2 Cell Phones and both them bytches slappin'" Adam Schefter. Seriously the NFL coverage is annoying. its the shortest season, some of the most uncharismatic players (nothing worse than baseball though) etc.

And I still don't think ATH and PTI need to be right next to each other...

mike and mike is money maker for them, so is skip & sas, and tony & wilbon. his and hers is doing well for them, don't see that getting cut. they need to get rid of shyt like NFL insiders which is followed by NFL Live, gets redundant, just give them a segment in NFL live. they also have too much sportscenter on, that was needed int he 90's, not so much right now. more documentaries, even dreaded reality tv might put some life in them

ESPN was TMZ with T.O, packman, Moss, ocho cinco, tebow, manti teo, and Mike Sam's.

ESPN following around T.O was entertaining, but set the up for failure. Following around Iverson when he had that gun looking for his wife was classic...but it gift/curse them.

And then Ray Rice exposed espn as we saw what happened to Stephen a Smith...while Whoopi Goldberg co-signed on ABC. ESPN should stay away from off-field stuff besides a blurb! Rarely watch espn after that fiasco and it has been liberating as I saw them take an agenda outside of sports.

the funny thing is i tossed cable n teh trash two months ago and bought a android tv box, got every movie and tv show at my disposal, live tv with over 200 channels from over the world and still keep my netflix for 8 a hour.

ANd get this I havea ota hd antenna, and well I''m in canada and its impossible to get CW. Yet now i have cw in clear hd

ESPN has too many expensive sports properties. They tried to dominate the market and have overpaid in doing so. I love the NBA but they overpaid given what else they have on their books. NFL, MLB, College Sports, that shyt adds up. They should let some of these properties go to other networks. One good side effect of this so that now I don't see them getting involved with Premier League, I hope that stays on NBC.

NBC Sports cable channel didn't exist back then, I'm not advocating for NBC to get rights back but if somehow they did they would be showing games during the week on that channel.

Does anyone even still watch sports center?It's way faster just to get on your computer or smart phone to get the scoop on sports.I haven't watched a whole episode of sportscenter in years.Plus all these new cookie cutter hosts have zero personalitys compared to all the greats like Patrick,Olberman,Stu,Kilborn,Eisen.Whats the point in watching that shyt.
