Similar to how Screw tapes sound better in their original form (AKA shytty). Lo-fi recording brings out a lot more ambiance and energy in music. Polishing the grit out of it just makes it like everything else.call me weird but there's something about the original mixes that has a better sound to it. I love that lofi rugged sound those OG tapes had, which shouldn't be re-mastered to be honest
