Not saying im 100% right, but i never looked at it that way. I think the point he was making was that because
hes an addict and has been one since he was younger the chances of him getting 100 clean & sober is a small
chance. Alot of addicts cant see themselves become unaddicted so i think that was his point. And therefor he said "dont put this & that & conditions on love" as well as "see you at my funeral then" or however he said it.

i looked at it as after watching it again dmx wanted clarity on what he meant by sober, because that woman asked him in a different part of the interview did he want a clean life and just like when his son asked he said "you want me to give up weed and drinking?" they BOTH should've said, drink in moderation..if u smoke weed try to at least get a medical card so u can do it legally but stay away from coke/crack and whatever else.
Just seen him at a show about a month ago and he didn't sound like this while he was talking between some song he was doing.
