Do we agree on Kendrick got classics?

After the disappoinment that was Views I listened to K Dots discography again and Section 80 and GKMC are stone cold classics.
This nikka on another level.

Good points. Personally to me Untitled is really dope but sounds like TPAB leftovers. U 2 and U 7 are amazing though

To Pimp a Butterfly is set to stand the test of time IMO. The album featured timeless music elements (Jazz/Funk/Soul)

GKMC sure for. I don't like calling anything classic a year after release so while I love TPAB I'm not calling it classic. It'll be interesting to see if it has any impact on hip hop going forward. I doubt we're going to really see instrumentation or jazz rap make a major comeback.

That being said TPAB's impact on jazz as a genre is undeniable. It's having quite a revival, especially the LA scene.
