Tbh, goku isn't even dumb. Ignorant of a lot of things but what can you expect. He grew up in the woods, lol

He only directs his attention towards things worth his time. His battle IQ is genius level. Think about all the techniques he's mastered and times he's outsmarted his opponents.

Granted, I've never seen super. Only heard they flanderized him hella hard, so I can only speak from how he was portrayed in the original series and z. He's a goof but someone you can count on to make the right decision under pressure. His only flaws are moreso from being too merciful and his saiyan pride. The former died down as the series went on. Compare how his hesitation to kill raditz costed him his life versus how he defeated frieza on namek.

We remixing the facts I see... Goku has never beaten Vegeta ever. Their first fight they jumped him, goku was left in a body cast for a year. Vegetas main injury came from Gohan's ape body falling on top of him. Took 4 nikkas to come for the Prince. Ya'll lucky he decided to kill Nappa because if his man's was still around there would have been no interference and Goku would've been finished.

Then Majin Vegeta beat the breaks off Cacarot.... we can argue that the fight had no clear winner and vegeta cheap spotted him... but that was pay back for being jumped in their first fight... so thats W #2 for Geets.... we not making fake rules to fights in retrospect "goku wasn't looking" when the Z fighters are the masters of sneak attacks

And he just flat out beat him in Baseform combat in DBsuperhero.

Edit: Goku killed the cross dresser that sonned Vegeta whole family and made him walk to Brooklyn for some cheesecake. Had this man sneaking around Namek hoping to make a wish upon a star to beat him . That’s a few wins by default for Cacarot. He ain’t never been a doja.

Vegeta spent the next couple years having mental breakdowns and confidence issues at not being strong enough. Made that man start a family

Role model for young saiyan boys my ass... Goku's own son looks up to a fukkin green alien. And Goten...psssh

Trunks adores his pops both future and present.... and Vegeta took Cabba under the wing and taught him the way of the true saiyan. Gohan has also shown immense respect for Vegeta over the years in the absence of his own father. And Goten is always chilling with Trunks so Vegeta is almost his surrogate father in a sense. Cacarot is a damn good soldier though. He's proved that he isn't low class after all.

The creator of the comic is a weirdo and admitted Vegeta hater so take that how ever you take it. He wrote him to say he could never beat him but that makes so sense. He literally beat his ass in their first fight.

Im going to assume its bad translation and he meant to say "surpass" as in once Goku passed him Vegeta has been fighting to keep up.

Vegeta was enslaved since a kid. This is A difference of upbringing is all. Goku pops was a slave too. If Bardock didn't have the ability to see into the future Goku would've blew up on planet vegeta. And if Frieza never planned on blowing up the planet Bardock would've raised cacarot to be a frieza underling as well

It took Vegeta a while to get over trauma that he experienced into adult hood its only natural to have setbacks and breakdowns here and there
.... goku pretty much had his memory wiped as a kid and was reprogrammed.
