Beyond fukked up, but I'm glad he was able to keep his life. I've been in 3 high impact accidents, shyt, 2 of em which happened this past 2 months. I thought I must have had the worst luck with all 3 accidents coming by way of people who had no license or insurance coverage (twice it was underage kids who should have never been behind the wheel), but this def puts things into perspective.

Had a car get totaled a month and a half ago, then soon as I buy another, that one gets hit 2-3 weeks later. shyt hit my pockets hard but I'm lucky and fortunate as hell to not have sustained any serious injuries, let alone have an arm amputated (on scene at that). I hope it wasn't sonething that could have been avoided on his behalf cuz that'll drive him just as crazy as the arm.

I thought the health insurance pays for his medical bills?
The article says the bills are all covered by the insurance but he may be seeking assistance with other financial needs since he will never play again.

He has a $495k salary from the Dolphins for the 2019 season. Hopefully they pay him anyways. It’ll be a good look on their part.

I've been in like 4 car accidents. In all 4 I was a passenger. One time, I was spinning out in the middle of the high way and then crashed into the railing. All I can say is I'm :blessed:.

Man I hope doctors can do something for him. I heard stories years ago when I was in elementary school about a guy getting a hand transplant. Fingers crossed they’ve made the advances needed over the last 20-22 years that such a procedure for a whole arm is possible. Maybe the speed limit being so low where I live isn’t such a bad thing after all.
I don't think I've seen arms but on numerous occasions I've seen folks with those robotic legs that seem to work really well.
