@GoddamnyamanProf this is from end of December (simply to illustrate the difference between Porzingis'/Draymond's defensive impact/ability/workload and the rest of the league) -

How can you sit there and act like one is "delusional" for holding an opinion that a team with a defensive frontcourt of Draymond/Porzingis (two players whom fit like a glove defensively, from a: position, length/size, ability and experience standpoint) isn't a great foundation for having a top-10 caliber defense?

SMH.

Edit: That would be in time, as KP developed - one of the greatest defensive frontcourts of the modern era.
Because they already have Porzingis and they're still terrible as a team, along with the fact that Draymond would not be able to do Draymond things on any team besides the Golden Boys.

:mjlol: Why is it so hard for people to understand that! Nobody bashing Draymond but if he wasn't on Golden State he wouldn't even be talked about! It's just the truth

Who's calling Draymond a top-10 player? I swear y'all nikkas like to make up bullshyt just to make sense out of your bullshyt agendas.
Draymond has been called top 10 plenty of times along this non-stop Warrior hype train the last 3 years. As his biggest cheerleader, I'd be surprised if you didnt cosign it.

Name names. Who are all these people saying Draymond is a top 10 player?

Off top Jerry West is the only person I can think of who said it and he works for the Warriors. Either way, the people who think Draymond is a top 10 are very, very much of a minority

He didn't have to go for 50. He hit the biggest shot of the game over Steph: dame:

Green triple double playing with two of the greatest marksman in the history of the sport isn't that impressive. Neither are the rebounds when you consider how small they went sans Bogut due to injury, and the "death lineup".

Miss me with the "if he doesn't get suspended game 5", he deserved to be suspended and not only that, they had Two more chances with him to finish the job. 6 games in total with Green to win 4. :dame:

32-15-9 on 11-15 shooting while playing by far the best defense on the team is a sick game 7 no matter who your teammates are.

And Curry/Klay were 6-24 from three in that game, so being "great marksmen" wasn't getting Green shyt by way of assists.

I agree that Green deserved to be suspended. But I'm pointing out that if he wasn't, then Kyrie would have all of ONE Finals win to his name in six tries, and that's with Lebron being all-time dominant next to him. That don't bode well for proving how well Kyrie fits into a contending team.

And talk about Kyrie being "as clutch as almost any player whose ever been in the league" when he has literally ONE big playoff shot to his name, and that was with a good minute left in the game still (though a damn big game). Kyrie is 12-30 lifetime on game-winners, 4-14 from three, none in the playoffs. He has that one against GS on Christmas day this year, but that's it, and none at all last year. You're claiming an awful lot off a pretty thin record. Expand out past game-winners, and his clutch scoring is good but not amazing. And that's when he's a scorer who adds little else, so he SHOULD be good in the clutch.

Because they already have Porzingis and they're still terrible as a team.
Because for one he's still raw as a defender (yet to understand the nuances of defense; unable to fulfill all the roles that come with being an anchor), and he alone isn't enough to make up for the team's shortcomings on that end. Draymond would change all that - it would allow him to just focus on being primarily a rim protector (aid in help-defense), while Draymond takes care of the rest. You're completely undervaluing just how great a Draymond/KP frontcourt would be on defense.
along with the fact that Draymond would not be able to do Draymond things on any team besides the Golden Boys.
No matter how many times you repeat this, it will never be true.

Because a rational mind can't understand something which is false.

Its not false. If he went to a different team he wouldn't have the same hype. If he had to take on a bigger offensive role(which would be straight ugly) he wouldn't be the same defender.

He fell into the perfect situation and got 2 HOF around him and a potential 3rd.

Search "Draymond top 10" and you'll find plenty of kool aid-drinking clowns talking about it or defending the position. Its a minority opinion because most people arent insane, but plenty nonetheless are.

Also if Draymond was actually capable of his presence alone creating a +25 win differential like you said earlier, then you should absolutely believe he's top 10. That's top 10 impact.

Draymond was the best player in game 7. I could never see Kevin Love stepping up like that if Bron/Kyrie had bad games like Curry/Klay did.

U give love a shyt ton of open 3s while the opposing team has to stop 2 top 5 scorers and he'd do the same. Legit that entire game was just Draymond splashing open 3s
