I don’t know about a creative director position but I thought the LV^2 collection he designed was decent
He’s basically working there with Pharrell. He’s with P in this video at the LV office. P was hired for the status he brings to the brand but it’s Nigo and others who are likely doing the designing

He's adding excitement to LV...which is why Virgil was appointed. It wasn't to continue what LV was doing, it was to recreate itself and introduce itself into another younger market (hence the Supreme x LV collaboration).

i might rock the pixelated denim jacket, but that’s the only piece in this collection i would even consider wearing. and, even then, doing that would be contingent on what items in my wardrobe i could pair with it.
btw, i’m always bothered by the liberal use of black faces to push this high end clothing. the vast majority of black people can’t afford louis, so it’s always odd to see these pieces worn by models who are overwhelmingly black.
