Best case scenario is that the new Program Director brings Star in or takes Ebro off the morning slot and lets Cipha & Rosenberg do their thing...when it was just Cipha and Rosenberg the morning show was actually tolerable...they both have good chemistry...Ebro bringing in K. Foxx and trying to be all up in the spotlight messed up that whole flow they had going on
Unless they gave Star 2-3 million a year or even a cool $1million a year, it would never happen. Star prolly wont comeback and he made it clear that he wasn't on that Star & Bucwild shyt anymore (he is both characters after all) and wants to be able to do his show unedited, uncensored and play the music he wants to play. I just cant see him willingly play a track like YG's "My N!gga." And after the Aaliyah mess and him leaving the station, Star felt some type of way about management.
Also, the money just isnt there to bring Star back. Emmis communications, the parent company, sold off a few stations a while back and ad revenue for radio has been down, just like the publishing industry, unless you want low level sponsors.
Star could come back for the right $$ but he would need a new "crew" like he once had and Howard Stern has and would have to treat the show like it is its own thing. No lovely dovey shyt with Mr. Cee/Angie/Flex, just a show. Still, he'd have to bring in a new audience as a 50 year old man and I'm not certain he can keep up with the ratchet crowd enough to talk about ratchet topics all day. Advertisers wouldnt go for that shyt and the ratchet crowd only spends money on Jays, Dutch Masters, Trues, iPhones (with cracked screens), haze/sour diesel and Enfamil.
