Christmas is once a year. If it's really impacting your savings then you're fukking up and boycotting Christmas isn't going to improve your economic situation any.

We can all go home now. Thread over.

I think it's an unrealistic plan but A LOT of companies depend on that Q4 holiday shopping stimulus to put themselves in the black. A boycott during the holiday season would do massive damage. shyt, the Wall Street reaction alone would be enough to affect real change.

The real problem is that it's too easy not to go along with this boycott. Nobody is going to be shamed. Nothing (visible at least) is on the line. A Christmas boycott doesn't tug at the emotional heartstrings. There's nothing compelling people to do it.

I swear these black leaders need to work on their marketing. A way more effective tactic would be "Company X supports racist cops. Boycott Company X or you're a c00n."

I dig Farrakhan. One of the greatest Orators of all time. But boycotting Christmas is hella stupid from a strategy standpoint. It's like trying to get a nikka who been smoking cigs his whole life to quit in a day. It sounds fly, but it's not realistic.

With all due respect to @Rawtid perspective, you can't say Christmas is just 1 day a year when the holidays account for half of all retail revenue for the year (or some insane number like that).

Holiday shopping is huge.

Holidays are really the only time my family gets together, especially now that everyone is getting older and doing their own thing. I like buying gifts and chilling with them. It's something that makes me happy so I can't see cutting it out at this time.
