Most hard working brothers and sisters aren't prepared to tell their families "NO.. Because Farrakahan said" as an explanation for why there will be no Christmas.

These people (Nine.. Times out ten) have established or participated in a tradition they've adopted as culture so they can't just flick a switch and cite Farrakahan as the reason why

This is what frustrates me, because whenever a black man tries to put something into action, some bitter contrarian nikka just sits there and talks shyt. They won't do anything different themselves, but instead of supporting, or even just keeping their mouth shut and not being negative, they talk shyt and try to derail it. Who's interests are they really looking out for?

Exactly! If you don't want to do it and you must be a trick, then do that. But why is that n#ggas, not black people, have to always be negative when someone is trying to bring black people together for a specific goal and a specific plan of action to send a message? And these same n#ggas NEVER, and I mean NEVER, have a better plan or even a plan at all.

These people always want to cop pleas on some "why this way" or "why that way" type sh#t. But NEVER have another way. And that only confirms for me that no matter what the plan is, they wouldn't support anyway.

its not Farrakhans fault. The NOI has an economic blue print. We don't replicate it and it's not his fault. What's stopping all the conscious folks from sitting with their family and implementating his plan. Pool money together in a centralized location/fund, write out a dietary plan etc. Of the family follows that structure the community around them will.

Shyt is kinda crazy how people are reacting to this. You would have thought he said quit your jobs or some some shyt. All the guy is asking is for us to show some solidarity and hit the people in power where they actually feel it, and it hurts. Which is their pockets.

Now I get this is easier for some then others. It would probably tough to tell a young child there not getting toys on christmas like other kids ect.
But if you don't support thats fine its your choice, just go buy your shyt and keep it moving. But, seeing dudes on here get literally upset about the proposal is crazy to me.

And my thing is, even with the "kids" part, these people are acting like they're kids run the house and not them. Like they can't tell them that they'll be celebrating Christmas differently this year and in the future. As if they can't still spend time and eat and laugh without passing around bullsh#t gifts that their kids will forget about by New Year anyway.

Black people want to clown their elders, but at least their elders were able to coordinate at a basic level.

I think it's an unrealistic plan but A LOT of companies depend on that Q4 holiday shopping stimulus to put themselves in the black. A boycott during the holiday season would do massive damage. shyt, the Wall Street reaction alone would be enough to affect real change.

The real problem is that it's too easy not to go along with this boycott. Nobody is going to be shamed. Nothing (visible at least) is on the line. A Christmas boycott doesn't tug at the emotional heartstrings. There's nothing compelling people to do it.

I swear these black leaders need to work on their marketing. A way more effective tactic would be "Company X supports racist cops. Boycott Company X or you're a c00n."
