So realistically, what effect would black people boycotting Christmas 2015 have on the country?

besides the economic implications by not meeting or exceeding THEIR profit expectations for the holiday season, this sends a very clear message that blacks are willing to organize and unite. It shows that we will not continue funding those who actively oppress us. It plants the seed for future boycotts and cooperative economics. It also offers the opportunity to use that money much more strategically. Remember, part of the plan is for us to collectively acquire land.

again, this is without violence, marching, voting or protests. Literally nothing to lose by not spending.

:jbhmm:

Go deeper young brother.

So the European owned airlines = black $pent

European owned retail stores = black $pent

European owned hotels = black $pent

Middle Eastern owned gas stations = black $pent

European owned restaurants (I doubt everyone there are at Bens) = black $pent

Just to hear the same speech he gave on the breakfast club and an empty challenge without a detailed plan to boycott Christmas

:mjlol: priceless (don't fall for part 3)

So what's your plan then?

If you are for the boycott, it should be for the reasons of trying to acquire the land in california
If spending on Christmas is the only thing between you and financial literacy, you already lost and it has nothing to do with the holiday

nothing a few more hotep nikkas boycotting the biggest season of consumer spending won't do shyt. what would do something is black folks not working for any white corporations. starting their own businesses and spending within their own businesses. lol at boycotting something when you aren't self sufficient stupidest concept ever.

Why California ?? There's cheaper/better land down south that doesn't get effected by random forest fires and doesn't have Fukushima nuclear waste washing up on the shores... Plus the Mississippi river...

But land anywhere is better than spending it mindlessly on nikka trinkets

We are only 13% of the country, even less when it comes to expendable cash. Black people not shopping at best buy would do absolutely nothing to their economic prospects.

Black people have shown time and time again that we can and will stand together. They don't give a fukk about that.

There is no other "strategy" presented here for the money and when/if we buy property it's probably gonna be to the profit of "those who oppress us"

Like I said I'm all for the education of our people. But arbitrary protests mean nothing in the grand scheme of things.

So what's your plan then?

(My order.. Maybe it isn't yours, you number them your way)

1. Stop looking at everyone who is "black" like "black" is monolithic (everybody won't be saved nor do they want to be)

2. Study the social construct that is race and how it's used to bind/blind the masses from the underlying draconian issue of classism

3. Study the law. This is how you free yourself on your land. Education is fundamental. Our moorish ancestors created the laws of this land.

4. Take care of your family. The sphere of influence is important to master. The people in your circle will be able to listen and observe your actions and how it impacts your reality and based on what they perceive will make changes in their lives.

5. Master how money floats. Create a budget and use Dicipline to stay/live within your means.

KEEP AN OPEN MIND

Challenge your ideas to see how true or false they are in reality

KEEP AN OPEN MIND

they probably spent close to a mill maybe a little over last weekend with all the major white companies who own hotels, retail stores, and restaurants in the DC area. :jbhmm:

Keep ignoring this inconvenient truth

You keep making this about Farrakhan because you don't like him. Fine I get it. But let's discuss the actual topic of boycotting Christmas.

Like I said, black people who heard the speech aren't going to do what he said. Black people just like you are gonna spend money not just during Christmas, but all during the year. And that is the problem.

You forgot to bold a word.......arbitrary :comeon:

Focused protests with clear goals and strategies can work. Protesting one day out of the year for symbolism does absolutely nothing.

You wanna say black people should spend their money wisely/strategically all year. I'm down for that. That's what I do. But there's also a time for celebration, there's nothing wrong with that.

I misread. Farrakhan meant land the size of California, but I read land in California. The land could be anywhere :manny:
