yet have been celebrating Christmas forever...

(even though:

- it's not even in the same month of Jesus' birthday
- there's no mention of Jesus and Santa Claus kickin' it anywhere
- Jesus or his Apostles never told us to celebrate it)

...stop celebrating it this year just because somebody of another religion said not to,

Wow! This is sad. The one way we can fight the powers that be, folks clownin' it. If you're complainin' about white supremacy but turnin' around to fund the institution, you're part of the problem. And if you don't think there's a connection, just look up who invest in jails, for example.

This idea is not new and it's the only thing that has really worked for us. Boycottin' the bus system for just a year allowed Black folks to sit where ever we wanted. Beggin' didn't do that.

Back then black people across the country supported the boycott. They sent money, shoes, black people started giving other blacks free rides, etc.

But despite Farrakhan's speech, black people are still going to spend billions of dollars at white oned companies this Christmas. Phones, purses, shoes, toys, clothes, games, etc. Billions of dollars spent and maybe 2-3% winds up in a black persons bank account.

You should check out the speech in its entirety, b/c he expounds on it. The NOI already own acres of farm land and have shown that they can be self sufficient. Unfortunately through hundreds of years of systematic oppression and miseducation, many blacks resist that notion and are comfortable receiving scraps rather than producing and building our own.

LOL I don't have an issue. I'm on point with my bread and spending habits but it's a lot of people CLEARLY missing the message.

Like I said, Dave Ramsey putting the shyt out on Radio (AM, FM, Sattelite), podcasts, books, local churches and schools. We gotta go to youtube. What if you can't afford or don't have internet? If you're going to take the responsibility to put out the message, you need to also take the responsibility to make sure the message reaches everyone, especially those that near to hear it.
