I don't understand transgenders or these issues, and yes I do assume all transgenders are gay. Maybe I'm wrong but again I don't know enough about these issues.

Such a silly issue. What is stopping any male from claiming they also feel like a female and then using the female restroom? If it were up to me, I would just create a public restroom for trans people but we all know they would bytch about that too. They would make claims about feeling alienated, etc. It must really be nice when a big problem in your life is deciding what restroom you want to use. lol The man brought up a good argument only to have the women to his left scoff at him like he was some kind of idiot, telling him he needs to educate his children about this mental issue and just allow these men to walk into female restrooms. IMO, a bathroom isn't about how you look or feel, it's about genitalia, a "transgender" female with male genitalia shouldn't be allowed access to the female restroom. The LGBT community is in full throttle forward and there is nothing anyone in North America can do to stop it, speak against the nonsense publicly and you will be thrown to the wolves.
