Like I've said the past 2 years the only high level potential QB we have is Geno. Petty is old and has repeatedly failed to rise up the depth chart. Hackenberg meanwhile couldn't even get over the college football hump let alone the NFL mountain. Bowles is a fool and should be fired.

What's concerning is that there is no solution at QB for 2017. Petty and Hack are terrible. Even if the Jets wanted to trade for Romo, they'll have competition(Arizona, Denver, Houston).

The Jets could probably get Cutler, but he's been run out of town at every stop he's been at. 2017 is looking very depressing as well.

I'd be shocked if he is. There will be better teams that he can sign with (it's already been reported that he wants to go to Denver).

Only way we get him is via trade and that isn't happening. Dallas can't just trade him outright, because they'll have a 20 million dollar cap hold. They'll have to renegotiate/restructure his contract before trading him, which means he'll have a say in where he goes. And like I said, he's not choosing us when he has better options on the table

There's plenty of talk that Watson's not going to get a 1st round grade(on the small side @ 6'2, 200LBS, doesn't play in a pro offense, struggled with accuracy), so he'll be available for the Jets. If he's still there at the end of round 1, you can certainly trade up and snag him

I'm not buying draft talk in November. We still have a couple months to go, plenty of time to improve his draft stock.

Plus with the high value put on QBs, Watson ain't going that low anyways

He's not going top 10.

- small for a QB
- doesn't play in a pro style offense
- hasn't shown great accuracy throwing the ball downfield

Those are big demerits.
