Quick thoughts:
. Revis needs safety help...most DB's do. The sooner everyone accepts it, the sooner we should at least do some curbing of all these huge plays being given up. The offseason talk was about stopping the big plays but the biggest glaring issue at this early point is big plays any way.
. Forte is a beast, just a great acquisition on the cheap thanks to his age (same way we landed Marshall). That said, I really expected Bilal Powell to get more work this week since it was a short rest run and Forte got a ton of reps last game. I don't want to see Forte run into the ground before the late point of the season but we're really putting a lot on his shoulders.
. Shout out to Enunwa being a big play threat that we've been looking for in the third WR spot. Also, Decker is damn near a weekly TD guarantee at this point...Peyton Manning product huh?
. Shouts to Fitzpatrick finally beating a Rex Ryan defense up. Dude is a week to week threat to blow out a squad or blow up his own team but that's every QB on the roster so...
. I had no problems with Bowles decisions last week when the media kinda treated him like he was too conservative in the fourth quarter; but this week I can see how the ultra conservative approach could bite us in close games.
. I'm praying we can steal one of the next three (Lookin at the Seahawks)...honestly, we haven't played well enough to expect any more than that so far.
