Not so much the on-paper part as the secondary issues that have me with almost no confidence. They can't give up big plays to teams with the defensive prowess of their upcoming schedule and expect to win.

I'm counting on the coaches to make adjustments and an all pro vet like revis to do so as well. I don't think the big plays gonna happen to us all year. At least I hope not. If they make those adjustments we can be tough to beat.

That said tho, I wouldn't bet my paycheck on doing better than 2-2 the next 4 games, but it wouldn't surprise me if they went 3 - 1

There's not much else you can do. Just have to hope he plays better or you bench him.

I think they'll beat the Seahawks.

First off that oline is awful.the jets dline should feast

Second people forget how quickly rosters change every year. The Seahawks defense is totally different then the super bowl one

That secondary is not very good. They gave up a ton of 4th quarter leads last year
we play them next?

we could've been 2-0 :francis:

forte looking great so far but they're gonna run him into the ground by week 4 at this rate.. ivory beasted for the first month last year too. not even sure who the third string rb is.. :ld:

fitz made a few throws that i honestly didn't even know he could.. :lupe: that dart to decker that got called back might be the nicest throw i've ever seen from him :heh:

bmarsh is the king of being slow to get up after a nasty hit.. and then coming back into the game like it's nothing :myman:

I knew he'd come back when he had both knees bent before commercial break

Yeah I'm never for bringing in veteran rb's. I think rb's have such s short shelf life that it's not worth it but Forte has surprised me

Not that I didn't know he was good but I thought he might have hit that rb wall
Looking at him as he moves past the line of scrimmage...

It's like he doesn't overexert himself by bursting out once the hand off happens. It's purely a chemistry thing between him and our line.

He would only be comfortable doing that because he's believing that the first playmaker is our line and then he turns the power on.

It really contrasts the type of back that believes he MUST be extra creative straight after the handoff. I love it.
