Fitzpatrick is average which also is happens to be the best QB we've had in forever. You whining about it because you cant give up your love for a prospect that didnt work out is almost sad at this point. link? I've been consistent about my thoughts on fitzpatrick. The Jets had no choice but to bring him back this year after all the spending Maccagnan did with the previous regimes money. He's a starter, who hovers around slightly above to slightly below average from year to year. That's a bankable commodity- which at the most important position is crucial with an expensive veteran team. Maccagnan saw what happened to Idzik once things shyt the bed- he needs to build up equity with the billboard mongos before he completely overturns the roster. Fitz keeps them employed in the interim because things will never go completely off the rails like they potentialy could with a Geno/Petty/Hackenberg.
