Amazing after all these drafts and signings we still have gaping holes at QB, OLB and CB 1. :dwillhuh:

Another great Jet first round draft pick :francis2nd:

A league source told ESPN Jets reporter Rich Cimini that New York may look to trade SS Calvin Pryor this offseason.

Pryor was the 18th pick in the 2014 draft by the John Idzik-Rex Ryan regime. Ryan immediately compared Pryor to former All-Pro Jack Tatum. Despite laying an occasional big hit, Pryor has been a non-playmaker for Gang Green. With 42 career games under his belt, Pryor has forced just two fumbles and picked off two passes. He's constantly out of place in coverage.

:beli: Hated the pick when we 1st made it, and Pryor hasn't really done much to change my mind.

Even worse was how I remember saying that we picked the wrong safety, and how if we were gonna go that route we should have picked Ha-Ha Clinton Dix. Looks like I was right again :snoop:

Thanks Idzik :francis:

Derek Carr :francis:

With our luck he would have ended up sucking with us. Franchise is just bad at anything quarterback related. Signing, drafting, developing, etc. shyt even the greatest jets qb of all time is only known for that super bowl. His career stats are garbage when u look at them.

Also doesn't help that we are in nyc and the media and fans are impatient so developing a guy is tough. Giants stuck it out with Eli and he helped get them 2 rings but elis first few years I remember giants fans begging for a change because he wasn't peyton.

The only draft pick we had close to a young Eli production wise was Pennington- whose arm ended up falling off. Sticking with guys like Sanchez, Geno, Clemens longer wouldnt have made them any better imo.

Everybody is after that elite qb and I think that's the problem. U can win with a game manager, great run game and great d. I think it would be easier to develop a guy just a step or 2 below elite and win with him if u build a great squad around him. For us fans it's usually elite or bust though.
