If they, the people who watch and practice and analyze these players year round and get paid big bucks to do so, had seen anything telling them Geno or petty or hack can come in and have a chance of doing what Fitz did statistically last year, Fitz would be unemployed right now.

I as a jets fan am not in any way emotionally attached to Fitz Patrick the way, say, @Roddy Right is emotionally attached to Geno Smith
However I understand the logic.
I defend the logic, not Fitz himself.
Now if he comes in and throws 6 picks like he did today and follows it up with another shytty game next week, I'm all for benching him
