They need to adjust big time.
Having Revis play off coverage 1 on 1 was a huge mistake.

Fitz's record is 7-35 vs .500 or better teams. DBs sit on the routes because Fitz can't beat you deep. Rex gave the league the blueprint last season.

Exactly. Fitz's stats today look like that Titanic. He threw for well under 200 yards on 35 (!) attempts for 5.4 YPA. For perspective, Alex Smith-the Checkdown King himself--threw for higher YPA in all his 16 2015 gamed.
In other words, Fitz dink and dunked, and refused to throw deep today, worse than Alex Smith ever does. Fitz lost us the game with his bottom 5 QBS performance today: 5.4 YPA, 54% completion and 77 QB rating.
Won't happen unless we absolutely tank or fitz gets injured.
Jets fan base would rather lose with fitz.
This is the first season opener we've lost in 5 years.
Of our last 3 coaches,herm,mangini and rex they all made the playoffs their first season. Bowles didn't.

I don't get why we didn't utilize robbie anderson at all.
Guy was amazing in preseason.

And what was with the lack of play action? We had an amazing running game today and didn't utilize it.

With your bytching and moaning about Fitz. I haven't seen a single blame towards Folk, or Revis getting murked repeatedly today. The whole secondary really. Smh.

That game wasn't all on Fitz...by far.
I felt that the Jets kept getting out schemed, finding the overloads on one side, giving dalton easy reads on screens that killed us all day long.
And Folk....
I think much of the frustration with Fitz ties itself to his limitations and how it effects everything from scheme, to playcalling.

The defense had 7 seven sacks and limited the Bengals to 20 points.
Fitz of the other hand played like a gimp and registered bottom 5 QBS effienciency numbers (YPA, QB rating, completion %). Logically then Fitz is to blame for our loss.

Ever been to a jet game? My family has had season tickets twice. In jets land, it's always 100% because of the quarterback, good or bad. No room for any context or rationality. This is all you hear in the stands at a game. 80,000 people and the only person any attention is paid to is the quarterback.
