Yes, I know we're not gonna be bad enough to get Kizer (or any of the other top QBs). That's not what I'm getting at.

The point is that we finally have a GM that is treating the QB position like it matters. Nobody knows how Hack is gonna turn out. He may turn out to be great, he may turn out to be horrible. But either way, he's not a QB that you pass on another QB prospect for.

Good to know Mac wasn't lying about his philosophy of drafting QBs

Kizer's gonna be the best QB of this class. Mark my words.

And fukk Idzik. I've been getting on Winters since last year before it became vogue for Jets fans to do so now. When everyone was crying "we need a corner" he should have addressed that last off season. The Saunders draft pick was a complete JOKE with Bruce Ellington still sitting there. Drafting Amaro is a waste because he can't get any separation from linebackers. Pryor I like because he's showing he can be around the ball but that's about it.

Winters sucked ass and was the worst ranked guard by PFF for two straight seasons. He's an anomaly....so it's not hate. He earned the slander. It just took a new OC to come in and allow him to exhibit his skills....but NOPE...i'm not one to hate on young players. I want them to shut me up and succeed.

Whatever works for you....I actually started liking him, but he came back rail thin and had a bad case of the dropsies.

Plus...I think the TE issue is more a byproduct of Fitz. The Jets TEs last season didn't see their first TD until Geno played in the Raider game.

The Jets ended up hitting on a WR from that 2014 class. The Jets took a bunch of guards too and Winters ended up hitting...always better to have more picks than trading them away from expensive vets imo.

When the coaching staff deems Keller Davis should be the starting TE it has nothing to do with Fitz.

Fact is offensive lineman drafting is a huge crapshoot. The vast majority of them turn out to be busts.

Most picks end up not working out. I think judging GM's on a pass fail basis on every pick is nuts.
