The whole keeping Rex but not building a team to his strengths was just strange and I don't mind Mac turning 5th rounders into Pro Bowl caliber vets at the expense of not having one more draft pick. Mac spun a fifth rounder into a number one WR on the depth chart while Idzik drafted how many? And Enunwa is the only one still on the roster a couple of years later. Same with O-Line, Idzik threw a lot of picks at that while Mac got a former pro bowler with just one and freed up his options with the picks he kept.

Chicago came to us about Marshal because they didn't want him anymore(also they wanted Kevin White and wanted to make sure we didn't take him.)There wasn't any prolific GM'ing because he got him for a 5th rounder.

Getting 3 good players out of a dozen draft picks isn't prolific GM'ing either. Nothing Idzik did suggests he was anything special. He cleared cap space...that's it.

I didn't think it was. I just think the overall philosophy is the way to go when you don't have a QB. Maccagnan is making the same mistakes Tannenbaum made.

Secondary played well. Wilson was just making incredible throws. His two throws to Graham aad Lockett were uncover able. Fitz had chances to win the game; he just faltered with a 3 and out or pick. We need a new QB
