Hot take - I want to move Pryor to LB.

Pryor can't cover for shyt in the open field/always tries to lay someone out. Disaster for a secondary player, but as a linebacker? Might work out for us. His coverage is good enough for the 5-15 yard LB zone, he's quick, athletic, and can hit. Would be worth a shot IMO.

I was thinking about the same thing TBH

I'm not as up on our o-line as others. They're a good pass blocking unit. They are HORRIFIC run blockers outside of Winters who is a mauler. Carpenter us always pushed into the backfield on run plays.

Fitz needs to GO. He's missing wide open men, stuck on his pre snap lust.

The weird thing is that his coverage skills were so much better last season. I'm trying to figure out what happened. It looks like the have him playing more FS which is where he sucks.

So apparently Costello was on Joe & Evan, and if what was said is true then :snoop:

Apparently Costello told Joe that when it comes to the offense, Bowles is even more hands off than Rex was. He doesn't chime in at all, Chan Gailey makes 100% of the decisions. The only time Bowles has any interactions with the offense is when he reviews Chan's gameplan every week. Gives him the green light and that's it. Costello also said the Jets run the same gameplan regardless of the opponent.

  • Ryan Fitzpatrick’s 5 game stat line: 1,267 yards, 57.8 completion %, 5 TDs, 10 INTs
  • Geno Smith’s rookie year 5 game stat line: 1,268 yards, 60 completion %, 7 TDs, 8 INTs
:mjpls:

Where is @Frump to tell us how we were in the wrong for not wanting Fitz back?

You need to admit falling for the smoke and mirrors season that 2015 and say we were right all along saying that he was fools gold.

Of course he was. I never said he was a good qb. last season was his one good year and it's hard to bench a guy coming off a good season especially when you don't have other very good options

While it was easy to see he'd come back down to earth I can't kill the jets for starting him.

Dog...what you were saying and doing was killing us for saying he wasn't shyt. questioning and scrutinizing our acumen.

One should question yours.
