Sad that the spoiler turmoil is more interesting than the topic at hand.

hes coming clean, heres the monologue from season 1 of him and ned stark talking. he vaguely spoke about it but when into detail with brienne
and heres him and king robert baratheon speaking on it
so as you can see, that shyt always kinda bothered him. Remember tywin asking him if it bothers him when people call him kingslayer and he was like "of course it does". then tywin hit him with "the lion doesnt concern himself with the opinion of the sheep"

but on this point I have to agree with Lord Stark's "you served him well when serving was safe" part.
One has to believe, the only reason Jamie had the balls to kill the mad king was because his father was at the gates doing his thug thizzle. Justice? Morality? I think thats the excuse he used to justify the attack, but its not what moved him to act.

What moved him to act was the fact that he was commanded to kill his father. He wasv either going to follow orders or be branded traitor and killed by one of his co-workers (at the Mad King's command)
Not really, most of that was morality. He stuck around and saved the city, Mad King gave him the option to collect his father's head, If Jaime was a coward and didn't give a shyt about what happened to KL, he could have dipped to meet his pops. If he was "honor bound" like the other KG he would have killed his father or let the Mad King burn the city to the ground.

@Ctdash I think @R.E.N. Spells Ren point makes more sense. Jamie saw his life was also at stake at had to make a choice. Morals...eh...the man pushed a kid off a ledge. Like, if this was Marg talking about killing someone, and repenting, I could kind of believe that cause she cares about the lil kids.
*The fact we all have different opinions of it, shows the true brilliance of the acting/story.*
Maybe I'd need a Jamie only story to see what his true character is *ye shrug*
jamie was fukked either way. kill his father and become a kinslayer or kill the king and became a oathbreaker.

Still can't forgive what he did to Bran....or the sister fukking![]()
Yeah, he's never gonna live that down with me either despite being one of my favorite characters.
