It was Joffery.

I never thought it was Cersei. It doesn't make sense that Cersei would do it. Even though she hates him to a degree, she wouldn't take it to that level....he's still her brother. Just like Tywin hates him, yet still started a war to get him back. It takes a certain kind of crazy to kill your own blood (close blood, no Jamie), only Joffery is that crazy.


I didn't accept that Cersei did it until she came to Tyrion's room that day and didn't deny it...glad they cleared that up, cuz it never made sense to me.

because we know when two boys are said to be dead they are really dead right? There's enough twists and turns and if you read your link there's plenty of people who thought it was Karstarks son or someone else....people who read the book stating unequivocally that it was Boltons son, naming Boltons son, and even one person mentioning something about "Reek" (might as well say it since he's not in the show and we past his part) is bullshyt...if you can't see that then you're as much of a nutjob as amaury (who has sent me PMs with upcoming spoilers).

how does Cersei know it was Joffery? it still seems strange

Joffery has not displayed any strategic intelligence and the setup was actually a decent one (doing it during the fog of combat)...I wouldn't put it past Cersei, Baelish, or someone else to have assisted in the planning of the hit.

She just knows it wasn't her. Just like she knew it wasn't her who ordered the King 's guard to kill Robert's b*stards.

That wasn't a display of strategic intelligence, all he did was tell a member's of the King's Guard to kill Tyrion on the battlefield. Nothing about that needed planning (at least coming from a king). And it was a stupid plan cuz Tyrion posed no threat to the Lamnister crown.

You're just throwing names out there at this point (as far as Littlefinger), nothing to this point has indicated or even hinted that he had the kind of influence to get a member of the King's Guard to kill the Hand of the King who happens to be the King's uncle. That order would have had to have come from the King or the Queen regent.
