True. And rob doesn't look that old. I'm watching now and I was tripping. Early 20s. Hbo could never do half this shyt with kids. Plus finding that many great actors at those ages. But after 3 seasons and this thread. I'm about to start reading these books. Too much detail is missed with a show all about detail

maybe they just age different in westeros. seasons such as winter last several years, even over a decade there... so a calendar with something like 500+ (making people age slower) days in a year wouldnt be that hard to believe ... i guess

The author stated one of his regrets is he made the characters in the book too young. This may be a way of him rectifying that.
