It's not just about your privacy breh. It's also about sneaky manipulation of your thoughts that you're not even aware of that gives them enormous power, for instance the ability to tinker with election outcomes which now has been proven they have already allowed to happen, perhaps even knowingly.

This happens because people would rather be driven by emotion...instead of research and constantly re evaluating their belief system.
