No. It was actually written by a young looking Spanish cat with your last name:

And even if it was written by a cac, it wouldn't matter. I basically agreed with everything he wrote in the piece and he made some valid points to back up why he believes Ghost is the most consistent rapper ever and has the best catalog.

Nas the GOAT
Ghost the most Consistent

That's how it goes for me.
Agreed about it being a great article.
You know Prodigy is the GOAT though :youngsabo:

Yea. That's relatively young. Just wanted to point that out because there's some people that tried to imply that dudes that praise Wu on music media sections are middle aged, white hipsters.
Yeah - old enough to have actually experienced Wu in the early 90s - but young enough to not be a middle aged white hipster. Plus he's from Patterson New Jersey.

I make it a point not to take ANY cac's opinion on hip hop seriously. Glad he was hispanic :obama:

I know some cacs that would school ALOT of brothers on hip hop. It's not about color with knowledge of hip hop music all the time. Black man is God tho :smugfavre:
Nah I know there are a lot of white boys that know way way way more than I do. Doesn't mean I respect their opinion. I dunno that sounds racist...man i dont wanna go down this path

I honestly can't think of any artist in any genre, who maintained the same level of quality they had at their peak, over 20 years. We're lucky that Ghost is dope as he is as this point and still experimenting to a degree. Especially when your greatest years were wildly creative and drug-induced. Supreme Clientele was a reflection of his mind at that time, even his work on The W album... Most artists either die or start doing some adult contemporary shyt. It's obvious that Ghost is older and less wild... He might literally be a grandpa at this point. To say "he's not even trying anymore" is ridiculous. He's 20 years in! Who else from his era is still experimenting and dropping projects consistently??

Nas still has the verses, but his catalog aint seeing Ghost lets be real. Snoop plateau'd ages ago. Jay is literally not trying and coasting off his accomplishments n signees. 3000 drops maybe a verse a year. The other Wu brothers dont have the same catalogs at all. Where's Redman? Dudes like Kool G Rap and Black Thought still sound sharp, but they also never peaked like Ghost did. Common is still out there, but his focus is on acting. Prodigy dropped an ill album with Albert Einstein, but he was dropping frisbees before that. Fat Joe is a joke. Juicy J is a pop star. The list goes on...

Where are all the 90s rock bands? The RnB stars from that era? Mary J and R Kelly still at it, but fukk, they worse than Ghost is now by far. Everyone else is on VH1 selling out, or completely irrelevant

Ghost is a living legend man

This is exactly how I feel. 20 odd years in the game is a long time, it takes a special artist to be so consistent. He has been the most consistent, period.

He's taken out a couple of years to experiment with making a different type of album, using live instrumentation and following a story throughout. His delivery is still on point, just not as good as it was. And he still spittin that dope.

He hasn't embarrassed himself like some other cats, riding others coat tails, changing the sound of his music to fit what's good right now. Nah fukk that, Ghost doing what the fukk he feels he needs to do as an artist, without selling his dam soul.

Snoop tried to reinvent himself, with the whole Snoop Lion phase, which was awful. He nailed it with the funk route though, that's his lane for me. I got a feeling Snoop gonna deliver with this pharrell album too, I like the direction he is going.

For anyone to say Ghost ain't trying is a fukkin disgrace. Some of these dudes don't deserve Ghost, I swear.
