breh no commish has ever been disrespected to this extent. not even bud selig.

if kraft is going to allow this then he needs to vote 'no' on extending his contract. it seems like jerry needs a few more owners to get on board if we're going to get rid of this clown.

I mentioned this in another thread, so I'm not sure if you knew this, but Goodell was HEATED when Matt Patricia wore this after the Super Bowl last year,:russ:.

The 2017-18 NFL season is an AFC showdown between two fierce rivals: The reigning Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots and the Kansas City Chiefs. The Patriots host the Season Opener at Foxboro Stadium in Massachusetts.

The Pats start off their Blitz for Six tonight and are favorites to represent the AFC (and win) the Super Bowl. We added Brandin Cooks, Stephon Gilmore, Dwyane Allen, Mike Gillislee, and Rex Burkead. We kept Dont'a Hightower and Malcolm Butler. Tom Brady, at 40, seems to be in the best shape of his career and is motivated to get his 6th ring (a la Jordan). Despite losing Julian Edelman, the Pats offense seems best equipped to plug and play given their absurd number of receiving options (Rob Gronkonski, Cooks, Chris Hogan, Danny Amendola, Malcolm Mitchell, Dwyane Allen, etc.).

The Chiefs lost RB Spencer Ware for the season during preseason. Rookie Kareem Hunt is now their lead back. But, as always, there's going to be intense pressure on Alex Smith. He'll be on a short leash because of the new rookie QB Patrick Mahomes who's breathing down his neck with that heavy media hype train. There's no margin of error for dude, no matter how nice his preseason stats looked. A bad game or two and he's getting the hook. Running backs CJ Spiller and Charcandrick West are also vying for time in the team's backfield and that could make things interesting.

The Chiefs defense is one of the best in the league so this won't be a walk in the park for Brady and crew. But it's hard to argue against the GOAT QB with this many weapons on offense.

Prediction: 31-13, Patriots.

Game is on TONIGHT at 8:30pm on NBC

TE Travis Kelce is also known for having big games but, naturally, his value is handcuffed to Smith. He can only contribute as much as Smith allows him to.
