if i have any, the best i'll be able to do for them is leave them money and hopefully a valuable education that will allow them to be an asset in the new fukked up world. oh and i'll write them a letter and tell them that this was the best i could do, but rightwing nut jobs controlled america during the critical moments and convinced more than half our fellow worthless citizens that it was a hoax and that i hope in their time that wingnuts are drowned for sport.

97% of climate scientists say it's true. I'd say it's pretty settled.
I had to deal with FUD and the push for preemptive strikes in the ME, the fossil fuel megatropolis, for 10 years. But pushing and advancing technological solutions for less pollution and more energy is now in the "fearmongering" category? Preempting ecological issues should be a top 10 priority at all times seeing that resources are finite and just cleaning everything is a good thing.
80+ countries signed an accord to do their part. No one is forcing anyone.
It’s settled that warming is occurring, yes. As for it being apocalyptic... it’s unclear.

Based on what? Also, they are trying to prevent it from being apocalyptic. Whether that's 5 days out or 5 decades out, is honestly not important. What is important is preventing it from happening.
