Another place we agree.It should be left to the states. I am against having so many federal enforcement agencies for every fukking thing on the planet. Some states like Alabama need illegals to sustain their economy, and some perhaps don't want them there. This should be decided on a case by case basis. In fact, if the states were given more autonomy in this case, they would certainly give out more permits and residencies because there would be a far smaller back-log rather than a massive federal database. It's a place I think the size of the government apparatus is actually exacerbating the problem.
