no, my point is, 30% of hispanics voted for him despite knowing he was going to deport en masse, and build a wall.

:ehh: Another place we agree.

It should be left to the states. I am against having so many federal enforcement agencies for every fukking thing on the planet. Some states like Alabama need illegals to sustain their economy, and some perhaps don't want them there. This should be decided on a case by case basis. In fact, if the states were given more autonomy in this case, they would certainly give out more permits and residencies because there would be a far smaller back-log rather than a massive federal database. It's a place I think the size of the government apparatus is actually exacerbating the problem.
State should handle immigration, federal handles naturalization.

I would assume money. But that does not change the fact that it is a shaky situation. The problem is once you enter a country illegally and you have been eating here for a while it's human nature to get entitled. :yeshrug: you let your guard down. You look at yourself as a citizen of that nation.

But your not:francis: . When it all eventually folds and your hit with that harsh reality it's a kick in the ass and def shocking I can bet. But its what it is. :manny:
Thats not how it works breh. The process is very lengthy my pops just became a permanent resident and he put in his paper work in the early 90s.

Props. I will gladly take that knowledge

Then I guess it goes to.. should she be surprised?:yeshrug: if i decide not to file my taxes for decades and get away with it (at the time) I then start a family. Get married. Have a house and responsibilities...

Then 15 years later uncle Sam wants their money and they take all I have and put me in jail. I gambled and lost:yeshrug: I knew the rules and slid by for a while till I got caught.

That's basically how I see this women's situation. Is it fukked up.. yup. But hey:yeshrug: People get deported every day b:manny:

naturalization doesn't matter if a person doesn't want to be a citizen and just wants to work and live here.
Definitely takes away the need for ICE

you're missing the point

:yeshrug:

on a side note if it were left to the states I'm sure you would end up with freedom of movement issues between states

Not it should not. It is not the States jobs to secure the national borders. That is the Federal Government's job. And Alabama does not need illegal immigrants to sustain their economy. Alabama businesses choose to hire illegal immigrants, because they work cheap and without the nuisance of those pesky damn labor laws.

I'm not saying they should secure national borders. I'm saying the States should handle immigration to their respective states. They give out the licenses and other things needed to live in the state.
